Practical information

Groups can consist of a minimum of 3 persons and a maximum of 10.

Larger groups would be split into more time slots.

You can join a group every Friday or Saturday at 11 o’clock or make your own appointment. Either way, please specify in the form.

The tour is (for now) available in English or Romanian.

The price is 30€ per person, and can be paid in cash or by card.

If you are a woman about to book the tour, think of bringing a male companion! Oftentimes, women’s history ends up being taught only to women…

If you are familiar with Dutch history, you most surely have heard of Kenau, Hannie Schaft, or Judith Leyster. They are the most famous figures from Haarlem. What about more hidden stories — women with disabilities, working women, or women who escaped slavery?

Learn about the most famous biographies along with the lesser-known stories of women who marked the city’s history in bigger or smaller ways in a journey from the 13th century to the present!
